Welcome to Coconut Grove

"The Grove," as it is known, is the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhood in Miami. Coconut Grove was incorporated in 1919 then annexed by the City of Miami in 1925. In the '60s' it served as the center of South Florida's youth countercultural movement which led to significant development in the '70s. An abundance of private schools along with outdoor festivals, events, open air and waterfront restaurants and stores make this waterfront community a popular, vibrant living area. Many distinguished residents call Coconut Grove home!
